Modern Meet Up at NQA Quilt Show 

Saturday, June 16th at 4 pm 

Hyatt Regency Hotel "Big Bar on 2" after the conclusion of NQA in Columbus, OH. 

Join us for a quilty happy hour! There will be discussion about the modern quilt universe, schemes for future Midwest Modern Meet-ups with drinks and food available for purchase. Oh, and did we mention some fabulous door prizes from our amazing sponsors?

Open to all modern quilters and artists and anyone interested in modern quilting. Vendors and participants in NQA are welcome to join in the fun!

Midwest Modern Quilt Retreat Proposal

Folks at our last meeting saw the proposal below for an option for a quilt retreat next March 2013. We're currently checking in with some other guilds in the Midwest about their potential interest in this venue as well! MODERN GUILD QUILT RETREAT PROPOSAL

DATE: March 8 at 5pm-Mar.10 at 2pm, 2013
PLACE: Potawatomi Inn, Angola, IN

Friday: check-in, cash bar cocktail hour, Dinner included (pizza, salad, drinks)
Saturday: sewing ballroom is open 24/7.
6 pm cocktail mixer
6:30 Dinner buffet

Rooms: 2 Queen beds/rooms sleep up to 4.

APPROX. rates for room 2 nights, ballroom, 2 dinners, all gratuities and taxes:
For 1 person $294
For 2 people $180
For 3 people $142
For 4 people $123

There is a restaurant for other meals.
You are allowed to bring food/fridges in room/ but you can’t eat the food in the
ballroom.
