We will have several Fat Eighth Fabric Swaps this year – focusing on modern fabric designers. Here is how it will work:

**Please note: 1 Yard of fabric will yield 8 Fat Eighths. The Author of the blog post is cutting a larger piece of fabric, yielding more fat eighths.
- Each swap will feature a modern fabric designer. You can use any fabric from any fabric line the featured designer created for your swap fabric.
- Buy 1 yard of fabric and cut it into Fat Eighths. You will yield 8 Fat Eighths from 1 yard of fabric. A Fat Eighth measures 9” x 22”.
- Put your Fat Eighths in a ziploc bag with your name on it and bring it to the meeting. We’ll swap the fabric during the meeting and you will end up with a variety of fabric from the designer.
- There is no formal sign up for the Fabric Swap. Just bring fabric to the meetings for the swaps you want to participate in.
