Color selection 
Bright reds and greens. Christmas if you have it.  No burgundy or forest.   Hints of metallics are okay.  Background should be white on white or plain white or VERY low volume that reads as white.   Please no cream.

Directions 
You will be making four 6.5 x 6.5 squares.  Please do NOT sew  them together to make a 12.5 square. Blocks should be scrappy and two red blocks should be diagonal stars with white corners.   The two Green blocks should be crosses with colored corners.   I will post examples of my blocks on Instagram.

Sew 2 matching geese together (for a total of 4 - 6"" finished blocks)

February Meeting Update

The meeting was held February 25th at the Grandview Heights Public Library. 

Just a few membership reminders... For several people March will mark your third meeting so you need to make sure you are able to pay your dues then if you haven't already!

• You may attend 2 meetings as freebies before you become a member
• You must complete the membership form and pay $10 dues by your third meeting
• Paid members receive a membership card with one-time discounts to local quilt shops
• Paid members receive a monthly newsletter
• Jennie H. (Guild Treasurer) will begin providing monthly financial reports at meetings
• When you pay your dues you will also receive a guild button!! Hooray for swag!

AnneMarie Chany of GenXQuilters came to share with us about her book Sister Sampler Quilts!  It was amazing to see her work and hear all about her quilty journey!  If you'd like to purchase her book, you can do so here.
