Picture Inspiration Challenge
Michelle Wilkie wrote a blog post called “Same But Different” about how a group of quilters used one picture as their inspiration. It was interesting how varied and unique all of the quilts turned out. You can read her blog here: https://community. themodernquiltguild.com/ resources/same-different
This is the picture we will be using for the challenge. Use this photo as inspiration to create a completed piece (quilt, mini quilt, pillow, tote bag, etc.). The reveal will take place at our March meeting. We will vote for our favorites and give out some prizes. We’ll also take a moment for everyone to give a brief explanation of what elements in the picture inspired their piece.
