2016 Fabric Swap

We will have several Fat Eighth Fabric Swaps this year – focusing on modern fabric designers. The designers were picked from a facebook poll at the end of last year. Here is how it will work:
  1. Each swap will feature a modern fabric designer. You can use any fabric from any fabric line the featured designer created for your swap fabric.
  2. Buy 1 yard of fabric and cut it into Fat Eighths. You will yield 8 Fat Eighths from 1 yard of fabric. A Fat Eighth measures 9” x 22”.
  3. Put your Fat Eighths in a ziploc bag with your name on it and bring it to the meeting. We’ll swap the fabric during the meeting and you will end up with a variety of fabric from the designer.
  4. One entry in the swap is 8 Fat Eighths from the same yard of fabric. If you would like to put in multiple entries in the swap to build your stash, feel free to do so. Just make sure you put each entry in a separate bag.
  5. There is no formal sign up for the Fabric Swap. Just bring fabric to the meetings for the swaps you want to participate in.
