Presentation in January: Bring in a few fabric samples/patterns (since I don't have a quilt made)
Challenge overview:
Each participant will create a quilt using only three (3) yards of fabric for the quilt top. The goal of this challenge is to inspire creativity, efficient fabric use, and unique design within a shared constraint.
Challenge Guidelines
Fabric Requirements:
- Use exactly 3 yards of fabric total for the quilt top
- Fabric can be 3 1 yard cuts or any combination that totals 3 yards.
- Any fabric style is allowed (prints, solids, novelty, etc)
- Background fabric counts towards the 3 yards.
- Backing and binding fabric does not count towards the 3 yards.
Quilt Top Rules
- The quilt top must be made entirely from 3 yards of fabric.
- Any patter, layout or design is allowed.
- Blocks may be pieced, appliquest, improv, etc
- Borders are allowed as long as they use fabric from the same 3 yards.
- Panels are allowed, but must be included within the 3 yard total.
Additional Details
- Can be any size
- Quilt does not have to be fully finished
